AFTV5 is a non-profit and non-partisan video production organization with a social focus. AFTV5 is committed to the value of community television, delivering alternatives to commercial broadcast television. Through our programming, we aim to provoke thought, foster change, provide an avenue for amplifying underrepresented voices and ultimately inspire positive change within our communities. AFTV5 documents and reports the African and African American community experience within and beyond Austin. By serving as a creator, producer and broadcaster of original work, we share with our global neighbors our culture and customs.
